Part I: Yoga and Weight Lifting Go Perfectly Together

...For many years, Ive enjoyed the attributes, and the results, of working out with weights at my gym. Its a national chain gym, which provides the most elaborate, sophisticated and creative exercise machines for specific muscles, plus, treadmills, stationary bikes, rowing machines, racquetball courts, swimming pool, saunas, and aerobics classes of all kinds.

But, even with all of that variety, my favorite place is still the free weight room. Dont get me wrong, I use the other areas frequently, but for the purist, the free weights are still the place for a great work out of muscle building and toning.

...It is important to understand that Yoga manages to lower stress levels - not eliminate them. Stress is a very natural survival process, because manageable stress motivates us to improve our lives. If humankind never felt stress, we might still be very content painting on the walls of caves.

Parents want to take all of the stress from their children's lives. While this is a noble cause, children also need a little stress to prosper in life.
